Wristbands are a commonly-used security solution at large events. Events like fairs last longer durations than most other events and require a way to verify guest status across multiple days. Furthermore, guests may choose to come and go throughout the course of your event. This will require a simple way for guests to be re-admitted to the event. That’s where fair wristbands come in. Fair Wristband Materials 

Plastic and Vinyl Wristbands 

Plastic and vinyl wristbands are the preferred solutions for fairs, festivals, and other large, long-term events. The reason for this is simple—they are manufactured for extended durability. Both band types are made with a secure snap closure which prevents the band from being removed accidentally. It also ensures that the band can only be used a single time. This ensures that your bands are not being transferred or resold. 

The biggest difference between plastic wristbands and vinyl wristbands is the material. Plastic wristbands are made from strong, durable plastic. Plastic wristbands can be used for up to a week. Vinyl wristbands, on the other hand, are made from three layers of vinyl and are our most durable admission solution. Vinyl wristbands can be used for up to fourteen days.  

Plastic and vinyl wristbands are great for both guests that purchase week-long passes and event staff. This allows your guests and staff to enter and exit your event throughout its duration. 

Tyvek Wristbands 

Tyvek wristbands are commonly-used for day passes and weekend passes. As a low-budget admission solution, Tyvek wristbands can be used for up to three days. All our Tyvek wristbands have an adhesive, tamper-resistant closure and a comfortable texture. Often thought of as ‘paper wristbands’, they are actually made from strong, synthetic fibers that are tear-resistant and can be recycled.
